🏛️ A Visit to Chor Minor — The Charm of Bukhara’s Four Minarets

Today we visited one of Bukhara’s most unique and charming monuments — Chor Minor. The name itself means “Four Minarets”, and as soon as you see it, you understand why. Standing gracefully in the heart of the old city, Chor Minor looks like something from a fairy tale.

When I first saw Chor Minor, I couldn’t stop smiling. Its four blue domes shone brightly under the sun, and the architecture looked so different from anything else in Bukhara. Even though the building is small, it has a big soul — quiet, beautiful, and full of history.

Chor Minor was built in the early 19th century by a rich merchant named Khalif Niyazkul. Each of its four towers is said to represent a different corner of the world. Walking around it, I imagined how it once stood as the gate to a large madrasah — a place of learning and faith.

I took so many pictures here! Every angle looked perfect — the turquoise domes, the ancient bricks, and the calm sky above. My friends and I laughed, shared stories, and even tried to guess which minaret faced which direction. It was one of those moments you wish could last forever.

Before leaving, I sat for a few minutes near the entrance, just watching people pass by and listening to the wind. There was something magical about that silence — as if the minarets themselves were telling old stories.

Chor Minor isn’t just a building — it’s a piece of Bukhara’s heart, standing proudly with its four beautiful towers. 💙
