One place that truly touched me was our visit to Toqi Telpak Furushon — a traditional domed market in the center of the city. I went there with my classmates, our teacher, and Mr. Colton, and together we explored a space that felt both old and full of life. As we got closer, I saw the tall dome and beautifully curved entrances. The name “Toqi Telpak Furushon” means “Dome of the Hat Sellers,” and that’s exactly what it was — a place where people have sold traditional hats and local goods for many generations. But it was more than just a place to shop. What amazed me most was the smart design of the building. The high dome let in natural light and kept the space cool.
